Smoke-Free Nova Scotia is committed to the reduced use of tobacco industry products and their harms in Nova Scotia.

Our current strategic goals:

To support, encourage, and undertake initiatives which discourage tobacco industry products in order topromote health.
To advocate for and promote healthy public policy related to commercial tobacco and vaping products.
To increase public awareness of the harms related to tobacco, vaping and cannabis.
To support the comprehensive and collaborative approach to the commercial tobacco end game strategy.

Membership Class

Agency Membership - open to any agency, organization, association and/or institution supporting the objectives of Smoke Free Nova Scotia Society. Agency memberships are granted on a term of one year renewable. Representative(s) from the agency may attend Network meetings, participate in committees/working groups, vote for the Election of Directors and at special meetings called by the Board of Directors. This membership will pay an annual fee set at an Annual General Meeting of members.
Individual Membership - Individuals, not representing any Agency or Association, who agree with the objectives of Smoke Free Nova Scotia Society may become a member for a term of one year renewable. You may attend Network Meetings, participate in committees/working groups, vote for the Election of Directors and at special meetings called by the Board of Directors, and will pay an annual fee set at an Annual General Meeting of members.
